About Startup Corps
Startup Corps is a Philadelphia-based nonprofit that empowers high school students to be active, engaged participants in their education by leveraging their passions and teaching them the skills necessary to start something real. With help from Startup Corps’ network of entrepreneurs, high school students have launched enterprises such as music labels, neighborhood clean-up projects, a restaurant and software development companies. While each outcome is unique, most students learn that nurturing an idea from a concept to reality is hard work, but achievable if you are motivated and are empowered by a supportive network. Startup Corps provides this support network.
